Michele is a frustrated director. His movies have never been well received by public and critics, and he still lives with his mother, with whom he is constantly in conflict. He decides then to base his next work on the difficult relationship between Sigmund Freud and his own mother. While trying to find the resources to produce the movie, he continues to dream about Silvia, a young student he teaches philosophy to in the dream.
